Former White House Press Secretary and current political analyst and commentator Dee Dee Myers has been named Executive Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Warner Bros., it was announced today by Kevin Tsujihara, Chief Executive Officer, Warner Bros. Entertainment.
Myers will join the company September 2 and report to Mr. Tsujihara.
Myers will oversee all of the company’s corporate communications strategies and activities on a worldwide basis, including media relations, executive communications, corporate responsibility and philanthropy.

I look forward to joining the Warner Bros. team at this exciting and complex time in the entertainment industry.”
Myers succeeds Sue Fleishman, who is stepping down after nine highly successful years at Warner Bros. Among her many contributions, Ms. Fleishman was responsible for creating and implementing the company’s “We Can Be Heroes” initiative, focused on the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa, and, most recently, helped manage the successful positioning of the company during the transition from Barry Meyer to Kevin Tsujihara.
Myers served as White House Press Secretary during President Bill Clinton’s first term and was the first woman to hold the position. After leaving the White House, she worked as a political analyst, commentator and writer as well as a contributing editor to Vanity Fair. Ms. Myers currently serves as Managing Director of the Glover Park Group, where she has used her years of experience in politics and media to counsel clients on strategic and crisis communications, reputation management and integrated marketing.
Myers also co-hosted the CNBC political talk show “Equal Time” and served as a consultant on Warner Bros. Television’s Emmy Award-winning drama series “The West Wing,” to which she contributed story lines and technical advice throughout the show’s run.
Before joining the Clinton presidential campaign in 1991, Ms. Myers worked on a number of local, state and national campaigns. She served as press secretary for Dianne Feinstein in her 1990 bid for governor and worked on the presidential campaigns of Governor Michael S. Dukakis and Vice President Walter F. Mondale. She also worked on the staffs of Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley and California State Senator Art Torres.
Myers is a graduate of Santa Clara University in California. She will be relocating to Los Angeles from Washington, D.C.
